It is essential
to develop a process that deals with the supply and demand sides of corrupt behavior simultaneously, and makes the connections
between the two sides. Tackling one without the other will never solve the problem, and is often counter-productive.
Our model has three main elements: We plan to provide internal training for corporations at market rates. Governments
would receive training at cost, consistent with safeguards to ensure sustainable outcomes. NGO’s
would help monitor the achievement of desired outcomes. In the first instance we aim to test the effects of specific education
patterns on levels of corruption through localized projects at several locations deemed helpful to sponsors.
Our objectives are:
· To develop measures that will give corporations and governments
the resources to · Train government officials at all levels
· Sponsor local training
initiatives in specific countries in which the target companies do business
· Train managers and employees in anti-bribery and anti- corruption
· Address supply
chain issues by training vendors, joint venture partners and contractors
· To encourage very frank dialogue between businesses of all sizes, government agencies,
local communities and NGOs
· To provide low-cost or no-cost information and training to communities throughout the
world through corporate sponsorship, aimed at shining a light on bad practice and encouraging good behavior
· To use the best local experts and other local resources in
developing training content
· To collect data that will help attitudes and understanding, with the aim of changing behaviors
