Corruption is universally condemned, across
all jurisdictions, cultures and religions. The elimination of corruption is what the vast majority of us want and yet it remains
a $2.5 trillion problem. By all accounts the situation is getting more bleak, especially as global economic conditions worsen.
Those that can least afford it are most at risk as humanitarian relief programs are now threatened.
Our mission at nomorecorruption is to support and advance the global battle against corruption by enabling corporations
and the communities they serve to co-operate easily and effectively. By building coalitions between businesses, governments,
NGOs and local communities, we make the fight against corruption much more effective. We will do this primarily through information and education,
enabled by the most effective web-based technology.
The reason for informing and training people is not so much to convince them that bribery is wrong, but rather to
challenge the widely held mindset that bribery is inevitable, even acceptable. We ask: ‘Acceptable to whom?’
and ‘Why inevitable?”. The assumptions that underlie these questions urgently need to be exposed for the
myths that they are. Bribes do not “trickle down”. They do not “speed up business”. They are not “the
price of doing business”.
